EM3 (Educated Men with Meaningful Messages), a youth program, was developed by Families in Good Health at St Mary Medical Center. Since 1995, EM3 has provided Southeast Asian males with the opportunity to be proactive about issues that affect youth and their community. EM3 is committed to supporting and assisting our young men in building self-esteem, gaining leadership skills with decision-making skills, dealing with trauma through arts and physical activities, and having a positive voice to be heard in the community.

EM3’s vision is to develop young men to become leaders in the community, to make Long Beach a safe and healthy community for all, and to enable young men to define their own success and to succeed in life.
